Hey there, fellow Rust fans! The Industrial Update has been about for a few wipes, and despite my initial reservations, let me tell you, it’s a game-changer, especially for solo players like me!
If you’re a casual player who doesn’t have much time to play, you might be wondering if the new update will benefit you. Well, I’m here to tell you that it absolutely does!
One of the coolest additions in the Industrial Update is the new electric furnace. Now, you can smelt your metal and have it deposited in your TC without needing to constantly check on them. Just connect a large box up to your furnace and your furnace to your TC then load up the box with ores, and let it work its magic while you’re away. This feature is a huge relief for solo players who may not have the time to log in and micromanage their resources every day.
But that’s not all! Got a big build and a full TC only lasts 1 day? no problem, hook up as many large boxes of upkeep you like to your TC and configure how much of each should be in the TC and you can rest assured that your TC will be good for days… or at least until you’re offlined at 3am.
Of course if you’re a raider, it will cause an issue in that you just won’t have enough charcoal to make gunpowder.. so you may need to light a few fires.
