Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was a really enjoyable experience. I managed to complete it with all the gems, and the bonus levels, only missing a handful of the additional level challenges.
The puzzles strike a great balance—they’re engaging enough to keep things interesting, but not so difficult that they become frustrating. For the most part, it’s a relaxed and satisfying game to work through at your own pace.
That said… there’s always an exception. That bloody level with the mummy shadow and the big dragon nearly pushed me to rage quit.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a puzzle-adventure game where you guide Captain Toad and Toadette through a series of compact, cleverly designed levels. Each stage is like a small diorama that can be rotated and explored from different angles to uncover paths, secrets, and collectibles.
Unlike traditional platformers, Captain Toad can’t jump, so progression relies on observation, timing, and problem-solving rather than reflexes. Players must navigate hazards, avoid enemies, and interact with the environment to reach the Power Star at the end of each level.
The game features a variety of creative challenges, hidden objectives, and bonus levels, all presented with a charming visual style and a light-hearted tone inspired by the Super Mario universe.
